How much notice is needed to book each type of catering service?
Lunch: 5 business days
Cookout catering: 10 business days
Drop-off catering: 15 business days
Buffet Catering: 2 months notice (more if the event is 80+ people)
Plated Catering: 3 months notice (more if 80+ people)
How does payment for the event work?
10% of the cost is due at booking and is non-refundable
The other 90% is due 5 business days before service is rendered.
For smaller catering, all costs are due up-front.
The payment expectation can change based on special requests due to aquisition being more challenging.
How far will Hungrier Hippo Catering travel for events and drop-offs?
Standard pricing covers events within 15 miles of Hungrier Hippo Catering.
Any events/drop-offs further than 15 miles will incur a gas charge to cover the gas for all caterers involved with the event.
